Current USA Signs Contract for PCS’ Software-as-a-Service
Uniondale, NY, January 10, 2007 — ProfitCenter Software Inc. (PCS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Systemax Inc. (NYSE: SYX), and a premier provider of web-based, on demand software for multichannel and direct marketing merchants, announced today that Current USA, America's largest direct marketer of personalized paper products, gifts, and home decorating items, has signed an agreement for the deployment of the PCS Profitability Software Suite™ across their businesses.
Current USA has been using a legacy catalog system in conjunction with other ancillary systems for its business operations for many years and found that they were being limited by outgrowing the functional and technical aspects of their system. In selecting PCS’ software-as-a-service offering, Current USA will implement an end-to-end solution that runs all aspects of their multichannel business from marketing and sales, to fulfillment to accounting. Current USA will look to PCS to run its business units with its integrated solution.
